Jackie Lawrence

Dr. Jackie Lawrence is a Vice President and Chief Scientist for Core4ce, Inc. where he has a variety of technical, corporate, and business development responsibilities. He received a BA degree in Mathematics and MS and PhD degrees in Computer Science. He has led, and actively performed research in, multi-million dollar IR&D programs for major defense corporations in research areas as diverse as artificial intelligence, robotics, computer security, parallel processing architectures, reasoning under uncertainty, and forensic serology. Under Core4ce IR&D, he investigated entity resolution solutions, including porting a Core4ce-acquired entity resolution prototype and investigating its underlying technologies for how they may apply to Core4ce business interests. He is currently investing generative AI methods and how they may apply to Core4ce business needs.
Dr. Lawrence has more than 35 years of experience applying computer-related technologies to a wide spectrum of military and intelligence problems, including 20 years of experience in C4I systems with an emphasis on Navy and Joint C4I systems. Prior to joining Core4ce, he was an architect/systems engineer for a classified space situational awareness and I&W system. In an earlier role, he was a key contributor to the early development and deployment of DISA’s Global Command and Control System (GCCS), as well as the US Navy’s GCCS-M system and its predecessors. Dr. Lawrence also directly supported US Navy C2 systems onsite in the Persian Gulf during the Gulf War and during various military operations throughout the 1990s.
